REGISTER HERE by September 4, 2023 at midnight.
Each team has a maximum of 6 golfers. Please indicate who your fellow teammates are when you register. If you are a solo golfer or partial team when you register, we will find you new colleagues to meet and play together. One person from your team will register all of you. This will help us organize the teams in advance. Everyone who received this newsletter is an EZMSA member or a resident EZMSA member.
This event is for a maximum of 54 people. When the maximum is reached or the deadline to register occurs, the registration will end.
This is an event for ages 6 and up. Children under 6 are welcome to attend but unfortunately unable to golf on the course.
Lunch Buffet Menu
Braised beef on a bun with fresh rolls, crispy onions, house pickles & condiments
Buttermilk fried chicken with corn bread muffins, slaw & pickle.
Sides of house-made potato crisps, potato salad, broccoli salad (broccoli, apple, carrot, raisin, herb aioli) and mixed greens salad (fresh veggies, toasted seeds, vinaigrette).
Drinks of water bottles and an assortment of pop.
*The vegetarian option is falafel with pita bread & tzatziki. If you would like a vegetarian meal, you must indicate this in your registration.
**Please indicate any food allergies/dietary restrictions in your registration.
***Separate snacks and beverages are available for purchase at the Kinsmen Pitch and Putt.
Prizes
Best Costume: $200 gift card for West Edmonton Mall (everyone wearing a costume will be entered into a draw to win this prize for one person)
Best Score: $200 gift card for Ticket Master per team member
Worst Score: $200 gift card for The Winspear Centre per team member.
Tickets
Ticket prices include your buffet lunch, two non-alcoholic drinks, golf and club rental.
Members: $35
Non-members: $45
Resident Members: $20
Children and Teens age 6-18: $20
Children under 6: $0
Schedule
12:30-1:30 pm: Registration and lunch at Kinsmen Club of Edmonton (red dot on the map)
1:30-1:45 pm: Go to Kinsmen Pitch and Putt (yellow dot on the map)
1:45-3:45 pm: We golf! The first 9 holes of the par-3 course are reserved for us. This is an easy family-friendly course in the river valley. We are there to have fun and enjoy the day. It is a non-competitive event. We will play best ball with up to 6 players per team. Each player on the team plays their own golf ball throughout the round. After each hole the player with the lowest score on the hole (or “best ball”) out of the 6-person team serves as the team's score.
3:45-4:15 pm: Tally scores and announce prize winners

Donations
We are working with Youth Empowerment and Support Services (YESS) to support youth in the Edmonton area. We are collecting in kind donations for YESS at our pitch and putt event. Last year YESS provided clothing and goods for 759 youth who accessed programs.
Tax receipts can be issued upon request for new items valued at more than $20 with a proof-of-purchase receipt. If you wish to receive a tax receipt, please bring a copy of the purchase receipt with you to the event.
