HOW TO JOIN

Zone Medical Staff Associations (ZMSA) support physician advocacy, education, and connecting with peers in each of the five Alberta zones. Each association also represents physicians in the Alberta Health Services (AHS) Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and maintains a relationship with the Alberta Medical Association (AMA).

All physicians practising within each zone (see graphic on left) are eligible to become members of their local ZMSA. Physicians do not have to have an appointment with AHS.

Zones & dues

North Zone Medical Staff Association (NZMSA) - $100 annually                  
Edmonton Zone Medical Staff Association (EZMSA) - $150 annually
Central Zone Medical Staff Association (CZMSA) - $100 annually
Calgary and Area Zone Medical Staff Association (CAMSS) - $150 annually
South Zone Medical Staff Association (SZMSA) - $150 annually

If you are an AMA member

Zone Medical Staff Association (ZMSA) dues are collected via the AMA annual renewal/membership process.

Members with an email address on file are sent an email in September advising them they can pay on-line. Members without an email address on file are sent renewal/membership forms in the mail.

Your membership is processed directly through the specific ZMSA. Contact zmsaadmin@albertadoctors.org
