CAMSS EXECUTIVE ELECTION


PRESIDENT-ELECT

Dr. Charlene Lyndon will be the CAMSS President-elect effective October 1, 2022 and thereafter President for a two year term. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Lyndon in her new role on the CAMSS executive!
 

Dr. Charlene Lyndon, M.D. FRCSC

Charlene Lyndon MD is a fifth generation settler in Treaty 7 Territory. After studying Biology at Queen’s University she completed medical school at the University of Toronto in 1989. Dr. Lyndon obtained a general licence in 1990 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dalhousie in 1994. Dr. Lyndon is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cumming School of Medicine.

Dr. Lyndon is past-President of Rockyview General Hospital Medical Staff and has been on the CAMSS executive since 2019. Dr. Lyndon supports equity in patient care, strengthening primary care, public healthcare sustainability, diversity and belonging for all physicians in our workplace teams and healthy workplace culture. Dr. Lyndon enjoys spending time with her daughter, travel, gardening, hiking, skiing, French classes, and cooking with friends.


SECRETARY-TREASURER

Dr. Roozbeh Rahmani will be the CAMSS Secretary-Treasurer effective October 1, 2022 for a two year term. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Rahmani to the CAMSS executive!

Dr. Roozbeh Rahman
Family Physician

Dr. Roozbeh Rahmani is a family doctor and an associate of the Canadian board of occupational medicine. He has been working in Alberta since 2015. He obtained his MD degree from Iran in 2005 and completed the SIPPA program at the University of Saskatchewan. 

He worked as a family doctor in different settings throughout his practice.

When not working Dr. Rahmani enjoys being a father, traveling, and kayaking.
