Dr. Michele Ramien
Dr. Michele Ramien,
Co-Vice president
Michele Ramien is a pediatric dermatologist at the Alberta Children's Hospital. As the first pediatric dermatologist to be based out of ACH, she experienced first hand the value of community and belonging as she built up the clinical service, supported by the Department of Pediatrics and through collaborations with other divisions and departments. Michele enjoys the challenge of improving systems with iterative design and research, continuously learning from new literature, colleagues, and trainees, and striving to lead an intentional life. She is a member of the PEPP council and avid volunteer on boards including at a national society level. Ask her about the leadership book club the next time you see her. “Plant trees in whose shade you do not expect to sit”. -Nelson Henderson or a Greek proverb (unclear source, but a great quote)
