All physicians can access the Physician Advisor for an initial phone consultation, but only North, Edmonton, and Central ZMSA members are eligible for up to a maximum of six 1-hour sessions with the advisor.
Non-members who wish to work with the Physician Advisor after the initial consultation will be asked to join their ZMSA. Current South ZMSA members are welcome to become an associate member of North, Edmonton, or Central ZMSA to work with the Physician Advisor.

Calgary ZMSA (CAMSS) members please note:
The CAMSS Executive have temporarily paused the Physician Advisor program to do an administrative review. CAMSS members currently working with the Physician Advisor can continue accessing supports, but intake of new CAMSS members into the program will not occur until further notice.
If you wish to access the support of the Physician Advisor during this period, you are welcome to become an associate member of North, Edmonton, or Central ZMSA.

Once you’ve submitted the intake form, the advisor will respond to your request within five business days.
If your request is more urgent in nature, please complete the form and indicate you’d like a call back within 72 hours, and a staff member will contact you.
